THE GALLERY

We’re excited to present a fresh selection of work by artists from across North America who use craft techniques or traditional craft media, often in conversation with contemporary art and design. Now located in a bustling shopping district – poised on Portland's North Park Blocks between the Pearl District and Oldtown/Chinatown – The Gallery at Museum of Contemporary Craft is one of the primary destinations in the Pacific Northwest for both seasoned and aspiring collectors alike to purchase exceptional examples of contemporary craft. And, when you shop at The Gallery, your dollar makes a difference by directly supporting artists and the Museum. Experience craft every day by extending the museum experience into your home! Members of the Museum enjoy a 10% discount on all purchases.

APRIL GALLERY FEATURE

Raymond Grimm

April 2-27, 2008
First Thursday Opening: April 3, 5-8 PM

New work by Raymond Grimm, who is a part of Musem of Contemporary Craft's permanent collection, continues his interest in combining a variety of materials into one piece of artwork. Intrigued by the contrast between the warm malleability of wood and the iciness of glass, Grimm was inspired to explore these qualities through the use of patinated metal.
